Drinking In Tanjungpinang

Although Indonesia is an Islamic country, alcoholic drinks are available in most of the cafes and restaurants, nonetheless. Non-Muslim Indonesian drink alcohol only in social setting.

If you like to drink new things, try the local “Double Kiwi”, which comes in clear (i.e. vodka-like) and amber (i.e. whisky-like) fashions, at only 15-20 degrees alcohol.
